Regardless of the style you are developing — hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, or modern — a solid foundation in classical dance is the key to reaching a new level of mastery. Body placement and barre work develop deep muscles, creating the necessary strength and stability for complex movements in any style. Refined arm positions, precise placements of the feet and head shape flawless movement aesthetics and spatial awareness.
And when a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre conducts a masterclass, the value of each movement at the machine increases several times! This lesson will definitely be a leap to a new level for every young dancer.

Anna Tikhomirova, First Soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre

These techniques require good coordination and the ability to maintain the rhythm of the music. There is no need to tear muscles here! Only smoothness, flow and enjoyment!

Choreography, like any art, is constantly changing, evolving and taking on new forms. Bold street dancers have long been borrowing elements from ‘folk dancers’, while ‘ballroom dancers’ never give up their ballet class. It is in this mix of styles that the younger generation needs to look for inspiration.
Outstanding masters of their craft, well-known representatives of various choreographic trends will tell the Forum participants how they see dance in the future, and, of course, will give the children themselves the opportunity to fantasize about this topic.

Egor Druzhinin, Choreographer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation
