Behind every spectacular performance in the arena are years of training, trust between partners, and the ability to work as a team. At the Forum, participants learned more about how circus acts are created and had the chance to try their hand at acrobatics.
During the discussion “Family, Friendship and Support: The Unifying Power of Circus Art,” People’s Artists of Russia Edgard and Askold Zapashny spoke about why trust and teamwork are so important in the circus.
The speakers noted that a circus family is not only about professional dynasties, but also about a wider community united by a love of performing. Many people come to the circus from other fields, including sports, and stay because of their passion and desire to keep developing their skills.
«Цирк — это не просто зрелищные номера, это школа жизни, где с ранних лет учишься ответственности и взаимовыручке. Когда ты знаешь, что партнер не подведет, ты способен на настоящий подвиг – и в прямом, и в переносном смысле», — отметил генеральный директор Большого Московского цирка Эдгард Запашный.
Продолжением встречи стал мастер-класс «Первые шаги в цирковой акробатике». Артисты Большого Московского цирка Артём Волков и Гузель Азизова показали участникам основы акробатики: ребята попробовали выполнять кувырки, поддержки и упражнения на координацию.
