Games That Bring the World Together

At the 5th International Children’s Cultural Forum, every participant could find an activity to enjoy. In addition to the main programme, interactive areas provided young people with spaces to socialise and relax.

With the support of Klassny Zhurnal, a games area was set up where participants could play chess, draughts, Battleship and air hockey, as well as discover traditional games from around the world.

The African game Kalah develops logical thinking and numeracy skills. Players distribute stones among the pits on the board and try to collect more pieces than their opponent. Fanorona, a traditional game from Madagascar, requires concentration and strategic planning. Players must carefully consider each move and anticipate their opponent’s decisions.

Klassny Zhurnal is one of Russia’s most popular children’s magazines and has been helping schoolchildren learn new things and discover fascinating topics for 27 years.
