Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation Centre for the Development of Chemistry «House of Polymers» — Partner of the 5th International Children’s Cultural Forum

The Forum featured «House of Polymers», an interactive careers exhibition devoted to the petrochemical industry. Complex chemistry was explained through familiar everyday objects, including clothing, footwear, automotive parts, food containers and other products.

Young participants were invited to trace the journey from oil and gas feedstocks to finished polymer materials and discover six different types of polymers. They could not only examine the samples but also touch them — comparing different types of rubber, for example, or handling polypropylene granules used to manufacture reusable tableware, medical products, automotive components and much more.

A separate section of the exhibition focused on environmental issues and plastic recycling. The guides explained why polymers should be returned to the production cycle and why their responsible use and disposal are becoming an important part of the modern petrochemical industry.

In the career guidance area, an AI-powered camera allowed participants to see themselves in various petrochemical professions.

АНО «Центр развития химии «Дом полимеров» — партнёр V Международного детского культурного форума

На Форуме работала интерактивная профориентационная экспозиция о нефтегазохимической отрасли «Дом полимеров». О сложной химии здесь рассказывали на примерах привычных вещей — одежды, обуви, автомобильных деталей, пищевых контейнеров и другой продукции.

Ребятам предлагали проследить путь от нефтегазового сырья до готовых полимерных материалов и познакомиться с шестью их видами. Образцы можно было не только рассмотреть, но и потрогать — например, сравнить разные виды каучука или подержать в руках гранулы полипропилена, из которого делают многоразовую посуду, медицинские изделия, автокомпоненты и многое другое.

Отдельная часть экспозиции была посвящена экологии и переработке пластика. Гиды рассказывали, зачем возвращать полимеры в производственный цикл и почему ответственное обращение с ними становится важной частью современной нефтехимии.

А в профориентационной зоне с помощью камеры с технологией искусственного интеллекта участники могли увидеть себя в одной из профессий нефтехимической отрасли.

Excursions of the International Children’s Cultural Forum

During the Forum, participants continued exploring history and art beyond the main venue. On August 21, the young guests visited the National Centre “Russia” and the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, while on August 22 they went on sightseeing tours around Moscow.

At the National Centre “Russia”, participants visited the interactive exhibition “Journey Through Russia” — a route from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad exploring the country’s nature, science and achievements across different regions. Participants from the Theatre and Circus and Film and Animation tracks also discovered the exhibition project “Heritage. Theatre. The Greats”, where they could see costumes, sets and props and learn how a theatre production comes to life — from the work of backstage departments to the moment performers step onto the stage.

On the same day, at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, participants saw examples of Gorodets painting, works by Vera Mukhina, traditional artworks and contemporary interpretations of Russian style created by young artists.

On August 22, Forum participants visited some of Moscow’s best-known landmarks. International delegations explored Red Square, Alexander Garden, the observation deck on Vorobyovy Gory, and Zaryadye Park.

Экскурсии Международного детского культурного форума

Во время Форума знакомство с историей и искусством продолжилось и на других площадках столицы. 21 августа ребята побывали в Национальном центре «Россия» и Всероссийском музее декоративного искусства, а 22 августа отправились на обзорные экскурсии по Москве.

В Национальном центре «Россия» гости посетили интерактивную экспозицию «Путешествие по России» — маршрут от Владивостока до Калининграда через природу, науку и достижения разных регионов. А участники направлений «Театр и цирк» и «Кино и анимация» познакомились с выставочным проектом «Наследие. Театр. Великие»: здесь можно было увидеть костюмы, декорации и реквизит, узнать, как рождается спектакль — от работы театральных цехов до выхода на сцену.

В этот же день во Всероссийском музее декоративного искусства ребята увидели городецкую роспись, работы Веры Мухиной, образцы традиционного искусства и современные интерпретации русского стиля, созданные молодыми авторами.

22 августа участники Форума посетили достопримечательности Москвы. Иностранные делегации побывали на Красной площади, в Александровском саду, на смотровой площадке Воробьёвых гор и в парке «Зарядье».
